Ameratex Energy Report: Oil Versus Natural Gas

Ameratex Natural gas has crossed above the psychological US$3.00 mmbtu level, and now sits at Henry Hub US$3.09 mmbtu. That marks a 68% gain from a severely depressed US$1.84 mmbtu price reached in April 2012. Still, on October 1, 2011, when the stock market made its last significant low, the natural gas price was US$3.67 mmbtu. So, it is still down 16% since then.
