AMERATEX ENERGY HOUSTON—Golden Pass Products LLC, a joint venture between Exxon Mobil Corp. XOM -0.78% and Qatar Petroleum, is asking federal authorities for permission to export large quantities of liquefied natural gas made in the U.S. from an existing terminal near the Texas-Louisiana border, an executive said Friday.
